“When approaching Yuko as a project I decided it was the best to do it in two parts. I styled the main Demeter wig into a semi high ponytail. With the extensions pieces I used black craft foam as a base for the “fan” shape and started to attach the hair thin layer by layer. Using spray adhesive I smoothed out the hair as i went. Then I attached the secondary hairpiece to a large butterfly clip. Doing this piece in two pieces really helped with travel and really cut down on the weight of the wig for the cosplayer.”
