Valentine’s Day Couples Contest Entry: Heather & Stephen as Taokaka & Jubei (Blazblue)

Here’s one of entries for our Valentine’s Day Couples Contest!  Heather and Stephen are cosplaying as Taokaka and Jubei from Blazbue.  Look on to see some more about their cosplays!

-What inspired you to do these cosplays?

Blazblue is one of our favorite fighting games, and both of these characters are our absolute favorites from the series. We wanted to pay a bit of tribute to them by cosplaying!

-What got you into cosplay?

I saw a lot of really great costumes at conventions, and wanted to see if I could develop the skill to make some of the things I’d seen.

-Why do you love cosplay?

I’n not a person who enjoys attention by nature, but when I’m in cosplay, I seem to crave it. I love being stopped for photos, and love to chat with people about construction on costumes. It brings out a part of my social-ness that doesn’t exist in any other setting.
