Valentine’s Day Couples Contest Entry: Pannon & Pastel as Cecil Harvey & Rosa Joanna Farrell (Final Fantasy IV)

Here’s one of the entries for our Valentine’s Day Couples Contest! Pannon and Pastel are cosplaying as Cecil Harvey and Rosa Joanna Farrell from Final Fantasy IV. Rosa used our Eros wig in Natural Blonde. Pastel used our Dione wig in white (discontinued) with some styling and relaxing on the curls!  Read on to learn more about these cosplays!

What inspired you to do these cosplays?
We both love Final Fantasy IV! It has a great storyline with action, romance, and lots of fun. The amazing costumes and challenging props and armor helped too! Cecil is a Paladin and Rosa a White Mage, so we wanted our photo to be romantic, but still have a very pure and sweet feel to it.

What got you into cosplay?
We got into cosplay around the same time and it’s something that brought us closer together as friends. It’s awesome to see what people are capable of and can create and there’s a great feeling of accomplishment in finishing too! Looking back, it’s amazing to see how we’ve improved and learned over the years.

Why do you love cosplay?
We continue to love and enjoy cosplay because it’s an art that never really stops growing. You meet incredible new people, learn new things with each creation, new tools, new materials, fabrics, patterns, it just keeps going. I love that it is constantly changing and that there’s something for everyone. Most of our best friends have been made through cosplay.
