Apple Red Mix is a shade lighter then the Dark Red with some threads of a much lighter color I bought to compare to the Dark red and if you're between the two i would say the difference is minimal/down to preference

Fast shipping, though ran into issues with USPS. The quality is great as always, just didnt have the color I needed! I wish there were more shades of red to choose from :') It would have been perfect if it were just the apple red, and not the apple red mix (but that isn't an option).

helpful sample, since it was hard to confirm the exact color from people's photos using it. it's very soft too.
not quite as bright for what i was looking to do, but i will always have this for reference now.

I bought the colour sample because I needed enough hair to make a character's goatee; this was just enough, thankfully, so if you're looking to use extra hair for a character's beard, i would recommend this!

There is actually more mixed strands that you can see in person that are virtually imperceptible on screen so this extremely helpful for reference for future wig purchases. The mix is a slightly darker red and less vibrant than the classic apple red.
